what would cause a 99 gsxr 600 to lose turn signals, brake lights and speedometer? wiring or ecu or what?

 

Did you check the fuse box?

i dont own it, but its for sale and i just wanted to know what could be causing it.
the guy says an electrical switchbox(?) would fix it, but wtf is that?

 

he might be referring to a relay, but without a wiring diagram and a voltmeter to troubleshoot, its hard to say

i would start with fuses.

If it's cheap, then it may be worth your while to check it out. Otherwise, pass and wait for a bike in better shape.

Maybe an earth, maybe its been on the track and run with a 'cut' loom. Either way there are 3 thousand hundred gixxer 600's for sale that are going to be less hassle. You pays your money.....
