Default Tranny for B18c5

So i have an engine to buy but no tranny, so i am looking for tranny for it. What are my options? I heared the GSR tranny is no go, why? Gears are to long? Should I go with si tranny and ad LSD to it? Or just spend additional grand ( which i really do not feel like ) and get the ITR?

i believe the si tranny is the same as the 00 itr just with out lsd ....because i believe the final drive 4.5 and gears are all the same. if you're going to the itr .....98 itr tranny 4.7 finlal drive.
