Default Megan Exhaust Review... Bored

Megan Drift Spec Exhaust Review....

So yeah... One thing that I can say about this exhaust is that it is loud (like the tanabe ultra racing medallion).... Yeah I could put the silencer in but that looks pretty ghey.

What can I say?? The install went nicely... Only took an hour. (Had to get the rusted exhaust off)

Makes a really nice rumble when you start it up. Sort of like a subaru... When you get up into the midrange it's kind of like a higher tone. (not angry bees but higher than I would like..) The vtec switchover sounds like a mechanical type sound all the way up to 8750, that's the part that I liked the best...

This exhaust paired with a short ram aem intake and megan 4-1 header gave me 15 whp on the top end over stock and about 6-7 whp on accross the powerband. Still it only topped out at 157 whp. Hmmm. Seems kinda low for a b18c6 but it's what I got.

Was running 14,6 stock but we'll see the next time I roll out to the track.

I'm not sure how many people on e bay are selling it but I got it from this cat david @ http://stores.ebay.com/Race-Options

**** was wrapped up ok and it came on time...

What should my next bolt on be? (Besides an intake mani, got an aebs on the way) Don't want to do cams... Maybe a throttle body or something.

$175 for the header
$250 for the exhaust
+$100 for the intake
-----------------------------
$525 for 15whp -- I'm cool with that

Nah, don't do much drifting.... I do slide all over the place though, does that count?
