I want to spend under $20K for an S2000. What can I get? Do you think this is out of the question?:

2003 @ 30-40K miles

I havent seen any yet. Am I shooting too new of an S2000 for under $20K?

 

I dont know about an 03, but you can def get an 00-01 with higher miles around there.

 

I just bought an '01 w/ 35K miles on it. It is in really great condition too! I think you'll have a tough time getting an '03 for that price. Keep your eye on autotrader and some of the other sites. It also helps if you are willing to travel or pay to have the car shipped in order to broaden your search area.

 

I got my '02 for 19,000 after my trade-in. Had 22,000 miles on it. But after financing.........i still drive it for 350 a month...

 

I got a 04' w/14K for $25K

 

there is a honda certified used '01 s2000 at my dealer with 9k miles and they want $23k for it. granted its lower miles than you want, and older, but.. for a benchmark atleast.

Thanks for the completely oblivious and pointless statement...

For under $20,000...if you want one that isnt beat to ****, you'll have to stick to a 2000-2001 if you want lower mileage. You might find yourself a decent deal on a 2002 if you look hard, but you'll be hard pressed to get a 2003 under $20,000.

 

Thanks for the answers guys. From a little research, seems liek the 03 has a hard window and som eglitches worked out. I guess I'll look around and pay more for a 2003. Thanks guys..

 

02's have the same things as an 03

 

Oh thanks i didn tknow that. I thought the glass rear window was 2003 and up. That makes it easier because thats the main thing I was after..

 

Yup...there is really no difference in the car itself between 2002 and 2003, except of course, price.

 

Ill sell you my 2003 S2000 for 22...thats only 2 grand more and i have a few small mods.

 

cousin got 02 with 50k miles for 20k

came with volks, mugen seats and rails. j's cooling plate, spoon strut bar, kgmm springs, j's snorkle, airwalker front lip and sideskirts, decklid spoiler, and vielside rear lip.

 

I got my 2000 Berlina with 45k miles from a dealer with the Honda Certified warrenty a year ago for that much so you should be able to find something along those lines. Probably could have found a little better deal if I kept looking but I was tired of not having a car for 3 weeks after I sold my R. Book values also change a little depending on your location.
