I got a 88' dx and it already got a Si swap into it and i think it has the Si tranny, but it has a 170k on it and i wanna swap, but i want a motor i can buy parts for and totally redo,is the DOHC ZC a good choice since its JDM, all i know is i can get a cam and a header. I think ill just end up boost'n it anywayz. Do you think it would be a better choice just to rebuild the D16A6 and boost that? Let me know your opinion.

 

if you are going to rebuild the ZC anyways when you get it, forget it. for the price of the motor alone, you can pick up some Tuner Toys H-beam rods, vitaras and bearings and be ready for a good amount of boost
