Default stock shocks w/ coilover sleeves?

i got stock shocks w/ coilover sleeves and i get a ton of wheel hop....im spinning for at least a half sec. so my question is, does crappy ebay coilover sleeves affect 1/4 mile times? say if i got a kyb agx w/ tein s.tech or koni yellow shocks etc....would i be getting less wheel hop and better 1/4 mile times?

wheel hop has more to do with control arms and bushings i think. the springs and shocks will help a little, but i still get wheel hop with my coilovers.

You need after market motor mounts, along with after-market shocks.

Ebay "coilover" sleeves are garbage. A real shock and spring combo or full race coilovers will DEFINATELY improve handling and reduce wheel hop.

Yeah, coilovers help a lot!

My old 240sx used to bounce and the launch was really rought, but after my Section 8 aka SILKROAD coilovers... no more wheel hop, not to mention barely any understeer.
