yeah as i said my check engine light just stays on when ever check it. i have a 93 civic ex coupe. i need help. when i drive my car the cel comes on and after a little bit while driving normal my car will cut out and it wont take any gas or anything, but hte car is still on. like when i drive in first gear i will switch to second start to give it gas then the car goes out the like 5 seconds later it comes back to. what do i do. can anyone help me please it would really be aprrciated.

 

CEL LIGHT??? Check Engine Light Light? Reset the ECU to clear the code

 

solid light means the ECU went to hell. it's dead

Don't give out stupid information. A Cel Means a problem. Sure. Reset your ECU to mask the problem. It will just come back.

A solid Cel usually means a bad ECU.

 

I had a solid CEL when my o2 sensor was bad i got it fixed and it went aways :D
