I just had the idea to do this since I'll have all 3 (plus a DC 4-1) at my house today. I am going to take measurements (in mm) of all the headers in certain areas for comparison. The Spoon is the 4-2-1 stainless top piece ( http://www.ipsracing.com/engin....html ), the Airmass 4-2-1 ( http://www.holley.com/data/pro...1.jpg ), btw its not that shiny, and the Megan 4-2-1 ( http://www.meganracing.com/upl...0.jpg )
I should have some #s up shortly. If you have a specific area you would like to see measured, post it up. I have to go remove the megan header and I'll have all 3 out. Specs will be up later.

Oh yeah, also will throw in measurements for the stock jdm B16 1st gen. I can measure everything on that except for the length of the merge, because you can't really see it.

****, I forgot to post the results. I'll get them up today. I am trying to put the Spoon header on the GSR now but when mounted together (top spoon/bottom stock B16) It is angled away from the cat so I am on here searching for similar issues. Anyway, results will be up this evening on the measurements.

my friend got one and he said he like it better than DC..

I like everything about the airmass other than the 2" collector
all measurements in mm
Inside Diameter at entrance/head:
Spoon:4.5 across 3.3 vertical (The cuts were very sharp at the entrance)
Airmass: 5 across 3.5 vertical (rounded edges at entrance)
Megan: 4.5 across 3.3 vert.
Stock: 4.7 across 3.4 vert
inside diameter at collector between pieces:
Spoon 4.5mm
Airmass 4.3mm
Megan 4.3mm
Stock 4.2mm
weld length @ merge of the collector (at 2/3 and 1/4 merge points)
Spoon 2/3 is 10.5 and 1/4 is 8 (the 2/3 would be even longer but the header flange is angled making it shorter
Airmass 2/3 is 7.5 and 1/4 is 7.5
Megan 2/3 is 4.5 and 1/4 is 7
Stock ??
Coating
Spoon is stainless
Airmass Ceramic inside and out
Megan is stainless
Stock is extremely heavy
I removed the Megan and installed the Airmass on my B16A. I removed a DC 4-1 and installed the Spoon today on a B18C. The spoon was cake putting on compared to removing the old 4-1. I first tried using a stock B16 bottom piece, which lined up with the header bolts but was way off, by about 6" fo the right , from meeting with the cat. I then tried a B18C bottom which fit perfect, and also had bigger piping ( I never new this until today) than the stock B16. The only prob. was the B18 piece was off of a 94' and I was putting the Spoon combo on a 00' so the piece was too short, didn't meet with the cat so it is going to a muffler shop for an extension this Saturday.
This post is purely my observation, made with a ruler and measuring tape. It's not saying one is technically better than the other. Even though I think my new header is an improvement over the old, and likewise on the GSR

It was/is a nice header. I still have it just not using it right now. The thing I didn't like about the megan is the piping is thin. I bottomed out once and it put a pinhole in a dent that was already there, which I easily had welded shut. I picked up the Airmass after that because I wanted the polished ceramic, and when looking at the header I noticed that the bottom half of it has 2 bends in it that hugs closer to the oil pan and wouldn't sit quite as low as the megan, so I jumped on it. It does have a bit more ground clearance.
Also some FYI for those that don't know...
A 90-91 LS header is shorter than a 94+ LS
A 94-98 GSR header is shorter than the 99+
both by about 5"... Just another observation. My exhaust on my CRX was made to fit my 91 LS header on the B16, I am now using a 94+ Airmass, which was too short and had to be extended. Also put the Spoon on a 00 w/ a 94' bottom and it has to be extended the same amount

Airmass lol. When I was a Freshman making a list of parts I wanted to get for the Eclipse I didn't have I wanted an Airmass header. I wish I could go back and kick my own ***.
