Keep in mind that you will get a far superior beam pattern by retrofitting HID projectors into your stock housings, rather than using re-based capsules with you current halogen projectors.

iunno i like mine, retrofitting costs way too much, rather spend the money on performance goodies or audio or something
but to each there own.

here's mine.

Couldn't have put it better myself. I thought it was great I finally got HIDs till I drove my friend's R with a 98spec OEM HID setup.

Time to break out the dremel and wallet.....

HID projectors are awsome; 1 e55 bixenon projector threw down more light on my 600rr than both the high and low beam halogens.

Im sure this has been answered before but since this popped up I have to ask.

Is there a way to have the lights angle set to LHD so it can pass inspection?

I just bought and installed a Xenon Depot 4300K Phillips plug-and play kit, and I have to say, the beam sucks. Its like a "U" or a "V" pattern for each side and its bright like right in front of the car and not out in front like the normal bulbs.

Re-based kits suck IMO, I had the kit installed for maybe 15 minutes, took it for a drive and had to drive with the highbeams on because I couldnt really see that well. I put the stock bulbs back in and I can actually see.

almost everyone at my shop has the 10,000k McCulloch plug n play kit in their car and totqlly loves them.

i'm sure the retrofit has a nicer beam, but the McCulloch kit looks way too nice to get me to hack up some headlights. just my .02

yea...if you like hot spots and a sitty pattern

seriously....I can't stand hid's in oem projectors...i think it makes visibility in the distance worse, because it is so damn bright right in front of the car.

its not like its decreasing the value of the lights....

and you can buy a spare set of 94-97's to do the retrofit on, and re-use your 98+ lenses on em.

check this out...

tell me thats not worth the extra $200..... (s2k projectors) not my car...i have e55 (hella) bi xenon's

10,000k

Doesn't that make your light purple or pink?

I'll stick with 4300k-5200k personally.
