How to tell if they're ITR valve springs+retainers
I was wondering if there were any visual difference between ITR and GSR v-springs. I am going to buy a set and would like to know that I'm not getting Japped. So if anyone has any pictures or advice it would be greatly appreciated!
yes there is.
the ITR intake valve springs have a yellow coating of paint on the topsides. The R exhaust springs have a blue coating of paint. The retainers on ALL B-series engines, including type-R, are all the same.

For the exhaust side you can get...
8 of 14761-P72-003 Outers
8 of 14751-P72-003 Inners
and they are exactly the same as the 00-01' ITR exhaust springs without the blue paint. There wasn't a change for the exhaust springs when the new ITR's came out. They are the same as in the first gen ITR.
