Default I watched that drag vid, So i went out.. SHITTY TIMES! Argh! help

60' 2.463
330 6.4
1/8 9.7
MPH 74.4
1000 12.56
1/4 14.9
MPH 92.35

On the way home i did a 5500RPM launch feathering the clutch, and the speedo just soared up wit just a chirp, no wheel spin.. damn i think that woulda been a nice 14.6ish

Btw,

There were modded RSX-S that were I/H/E/Honda reflash #4 running 14.8... lots of the type-s's were running over 15++ one even ran 16.5! lol.

My first run was agaisnt a 05 Colbat SS, which i ran the 14.9 vs the colbats 15.5.. he ran a 2nd time and ran 16.2! so much for a 200hp supercharged ride eh?

The SRT-4 neons are beasts! There was a STG 2 running inbetween 13.7- 14.1 .. he launches at idle for best results. nice guy. Also a STi ran 14.5 (bogged) then eh ran a 13.5 his 2nd run... Thought id share with everyone = ) ...

My mods are only AEM intake and removed P/S belt

last time i went out stock i did a 14.6@98 my clutch was slipping and owning me off the line. i couldn't cut better than a 2.3 60' no matter what i did.

anyways, to help out the poster, work on your shifting. it looks like you're losing a lot of time there. your mph at the end of the quarter should be in the 94-96 range. ur launch rpm is about right, just feather it a lot more to control wheelspin. but yeah, definitely try to speed up your shifting.

wow 98 mph is really fast for a stock R with a 2.3 60'. My best time with a 2.3 60' and i/h/e are the following. I though that was pretty good until i saw your 98 MPH.

R/T .759
60' 2.326
330 6.254
1/8 9.466
MPH 77.04
1000 12.222
1/4 14.569
MPH 96.20

This is the problem here.... As some have already suggested.

Try to lower your tire pressure to around 20psi and try again. With the stock RE010s, it's possible to hit a 2.200 or lower...depending on surface/weather/driver.

Good luck.

^^ That does seem a little slow for a type r. My jdm sir-g did a 14.7 last weekend at the local drags and all I have is an exhaust and intake, not to mention the track was semi wet too!!

I did the same stock. Remember your freebies. Take out the jack, spare and pass. seat. Also if your going for little things to help out you can also remove the PS/AC belts and remove the spoiler.

no spoiler, suspension, and remember, i have a JDM R, it's only 2450lbs with me in it and no spare/jack tools, just a "tad" lighter than the USDM models. I have 15 more hp than a USDM as well.

I also have the 98 spec jdm b18c motor. Cool so next i'll take out all the stuff out my car, I have the red jdm recaros so i'm sure they weigh more than the usdm seats. Does the p/s belt make a diffrent?
