Default installing a JDM DC sports stainless steel header

I am trying to install a JDM DC header onto a 01 CDN ITR. what i am wondering is if anyone knows what cat I am going to want to run, or what aftermarket exhaust systems will bolt up to the 2.5" collector? any feed back would be appreciated

Look up user SMSP on here, he sells a cat that will mate up to the JDM-sized collector. Or you can find an exhaust shop that will weld something up for you.

I have a custom 2.5'' magnaflow hi-flow cat, just have to weld flange on it. Any good exhaust shop will make you one

Dave at SMSP can rig you up a good one

or as previously suggested, most exhaust shops can give you what you want.

And as for exhausts that mate up, most of the better quality exhausts will fit directly. and for those that dont, once again an exhaust shop can fix the flange on your cat for you.

well the part number i got is off of magnaflows website and it is: pn 94006 which is a 2.5"x16" highflow cat. it says it is made by carsound???? why are the car sound cats junk? I can have this cat by monday a local shop has it instock... I would just have to ad a 3 bolt flange in the back and a o2 bunge and a 2.5" collector fflange at the front, shorten it up and should work.

I can get this for $112 CDN approx $87 USD
