TEIN S.Tech's
I have a 1990 civic Lx. I'm looking into lowering it with tein s.tech lowering springs but i don't know whether or not these springs will blow out my shocks or not. I would also like to know whether I will need a camber kit b/c of the lowering and if alignment will be needed. I DO plan on doing a full suspension upgrade with performance shocks/lowering springs but right now, money only permits the purchase of the springs and I really want/need to be lower. ANY and ALL help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

The S Tech's are not that much of a drop. Stock struts will be fine. I wouldn't worry about camber with those springs, they are a pretty mild drop. I'd only get a camber kit if you go lower than 2-2.5".

Yeah, I just want my car to have a little better stance, will the S.Tech's give me that? Also, how will the ride be with them? I'm not looking for a "luxury" status ride, but I want something that will be comfortable enough to be able to cruise the highways/freeways without jumping and bouncing out of my seat. However, I would also like to [possibly] be able to take a few tight turns successfully [ya know ?]. Will the S.Tech's live up to those expectations?.......Any feedback, plz.

The S tech's for the EF are only a 1.6"F and 1.4"R drop.....so its not going to ride harsh at all, you will barely notice the difference. As far as cornering ability goes, it will improve a little bit, but you are going to still have a lot of body roll being that the drop isn't that much and the springs are really soft.

That's cool b/c I plan on going with some KYB or Koni [or whatever is good quality/affordable] shocks pretty soon but I've got to get this thing a little closer to the ground. Thanx again man, you've been a bigger help than you know.

If you plan on circuit racing your car they would be nice. I don't see that happening, get some Tein springs, gas shocks from Kragen, and you're good
