Default h22 civic and hpde

i ve read searches on this setup , but i wanted to know if there is any recent info /experiences with this setup and hpde in terms of how the car handles with this setup? does anyone have any 1st hand experience with this setup and hpde is it worth it? or is this just a fast 1/4 mile setup?? thanks

from the searches there is only like 35-50 pound differ from gsr and this motor setup

currently waiting to get a 94 gsr and rebuild it for tracking with some cams/pistons or buy a h22 civic

i already know that the h22 civic will go faster than the gsr stock becuase of the engine /weight difference but just watn some recent experiences with this setup on hpde events not 1/4 tracking!

I'm not sure what you're asking... but...

All you need to do drivers schools is a safe, reliable car. Dont need huge power from the motor at all, the money you'd spend on that is better suited to saftey equipment (rollbar, seats, harnesses) and brakes (pads, fluid, lines) and a good set of shocks (koni ).

Either way, you dont *need* all of that, except decent brake pads/fluid to get out there and have a good time

yeah i know that.. ive been doing hpde for about 2 years now... sold my track only car.. and now im just looking for a new track /street car. There are some decent deals out there for h22 civics and just wondering if they can handle well on hpde courses or is it not worth it
