Default new engine, what do yall think?

Just purchased a new built d16z with: CUSTOM HEAD WORK including porting and polishing, valves, valve springs, retainers, 12:1 J.E. 20 over pistons and rings, ARP rod bolts, balanced crank, bearings, rods, custom cam, adjustable cam gear, custom crank pulley, injectors, MSD distributor cap, plug wires, irridum plugs, Focuz header, Extrudehone prepped intake manifold, LSD, ultra light aluminium fly wheel, clutch and more. What do you all think? Is there anything else i should get for it? Thanks

well from the description of your setup so far, it sounds like your going for an all-motor single cam with the high comp. pistons. Was that cam made for the street setup or like the ultimate drag setup? It all comes down to the type of setup and hp your looking for out of the z6. There really are numerous other things you could do, but you only want to really do the things that will be highly beneficial to your setup. what kind of clutch/flywheel? Let us know the kind of whp your trying for and if its a daily driver or what

Not really. For turbo you want low compression. And you are way up there

Sounds like a nice package. How are you willing to spend in a setup like this? If you didn't pay for it already?

Yes, it is a very good step above what you had and a good setup. Like fast88std said, not good for turbo. with 12:1 and all of the other work you have done, you should be putting down pretty good numbers.

Sounds good. But if you're ever gonna want to go turbo you're gonna get low compression.

But that sounds like a pretty strong setup. Should be around what you want out of it.
