that is my brother-in-law's and my car
we met some of the HC drivers at the last Thunder Hill event.
here are some pics of the car at the track last Wednesday
full set of pics here from gotblumilk.com

the car got it's first real test day last week.
we went with the lotus club so we got a full 6 hours of track time. we swapped sessions for 6 hours and never turned the car off except to put fuel in and adjust suspension.
we hope
to get out the HC races very soon. once we feel the car is ready.
trying to ease into real racing slowly
heheh smart guy. i've been telling ppl about lotus club for few years. it's the best "open" secret that few take advantage of.

Just a recomendation but i would SEROUSLY suggest that you do some kinda of "nascar" style door bars on the driver side.
For the second weekend in a row i have seen two car get T-boned, both on the passanger side. Both cars had the same door bars on the passanger side as you do, one has nascar on the dirver side and the other had the same as you on the driver side.
After seeing the damage i think it should be REQUIRED to run "nascar" style door bars on the drivers side.
If the car with door bars like yours would have been hit on the drivers side, im said to say that he would have been injured in some sort of way, luckly it was the passanger side.

I second that. One diagonal crossbar is not adequate protection.

I was in the red CRX above and I can tell you without a doubt that I will have NASCAR style door bars on the driver's side of any future racecar that I own. I really think you should reconsider your setup. Had I taken that hit in the drivers side, I probably would have been seriously injured. Also, the guy in the Sentra was wearing a HANS and it's a good thing. After that accident, I will be wearing one from now on.

oh, referring to the red crx that seems to be a write off from the incident with the Sentra at Infineon.

umm, we would like to get the car out there
but we took it to thunderhill last week and realized it is WAY down on power.
I can't figure out what the problem is.
the car won't pick up enough speed to even get out of 3rd gear the entire track.
I can't tell if the car is going into vtec also b/c it is soo loud inside it
also we have the cat still in to make the exhuast fit and I'm thinking it maybe melted. so we're gonna get a little test pipe for it.
the fastest I could do was 2:19 and the times just got slower as the day went on.
will try to figure out the power issues then will be out there to race

The cat could be the problem, by being clogged. But there could be many other reasons why your down on power.
