Front too low on koni/gc combo
I just put these bad boys on and the front of the car is too low. I try to adjust it but it seems like the shock is full extended, and the coil over adjustment ring will not adjust up anymore. They are the sp3's, and I am using the gc top hats also. Do I need to compress the spring before I put them on? I'm confused please help.

There is a sir clip that adjusts the spring perch of the shock. Make sure its not on the bottom:

Also, make sure you installed the brake cable bracket.

The circlip is in the stock location, and I have no brake brackets. The tokico's were welded on, but the space where the brake bracket should go is still there.
its the GC top hats that are causing you to not have enough room to raise it. if you want to go higher, i would suggest you remove the top hat, since you probably dont need it. GC top hats are used when you want to ride low. you apprently dont care to, which is just as fine.
As mentioned above, the GC upper mounts will require that you preload the spring more when it is off the car. You can remove the top mount of you can use a spring compressor and run the perch up higher. This is one of the overlooked side effects of using these style upper mounts, you need more preloading of the spring when the unit is off the car.
