I have a '98 ITR and just purchased an APEX N1 catback. It's affordably priced, and the piping is about as straight as you're going to get for a DC2 chassis. Piping diameter is great for NA applications (60mm).

Best place to order this exhaust from is Wes at Titan Motorsports...
wes@titanmotorsports.com, very quick service and they back their product... not to mention some of the lowest prices around.

Good luck.

Kakimoto R for TypeR is 70mm OD, so the ID would be very close to 2.5".
To see picture of the Kakimoto R exhaust, you can goto www.boomplustoys.net or IM me with your email.

I know that SMSP and Hytech both made custom 2.5" exhaust too, but the Hytech one is expensive and who know how long you have to wait. But it is very very nice!!

Also, the Type One b-pipe I saw in the pictures are 63mm OD (unless they come out with bigger piping since the pictures last shown), so the ID would be less than 2.5" for sure and there is a 2.15" bottle neck near the cat flange.
