Dudes and there bikes..
So im leaving the gym after my work out and i see a guy wearing a honda shirt with a whole bunch a cars on it. So i ask him is that prelude. he said " Yes and theres a civic over here, but I drive something much faster." So im thinking hes driving a T/A , Vett or something like that. Because we all know about them guys. So I ask him what hes driving he said a CBR600. Are F***ing kidding me. I told him I was keeping up with those guys in NA CRX. If you saying Honda cars slow better have some at leasta 900 for bike to be saying that. Well thats my story so I thought I would share it

All I have to say is you had better not laugh too quickly. Look up the 1/4 times on a CBR 600...an average rider can run it in the 11's, I have seen good riders do it in 10 flat with ease on just a 600cc.
110-120WHEEL hp and ~500lbs (including rider and gas), and much better gearing to boot. Face it, power to weight ratio owns you: you weigh roughly 4-5 times the amount that the bike does, so comparitively you need to be in the 400-600 WHEEL hp in a 2000-2500lb car just to stand a chance.
Many of the newer sportbikes and gear have gotten around the wind resistance problem as well, as the new 600's are capable of speeds in excess of 170mph with an experienced rider in the saddle.
Double your hp, then you will have a shot against a decent motorcyclist...
PS: I have seen in person a friend I ride with toast new 911 tubos, souped up vettes and even a Hennessy TT Viper on a GSXR 750 with i/h/e, computer upgrade, and good riding skill...

I was right behind about 2 CRX length. So i guess maybe 400-500 whp in a prelude maybe, but it all depands on the setup. I had my car to 165mph before it started to get drifty. the car was so light i felt like it was going to lift off the ground, so I had to back down. Now maybe the kid i raced didnt know how to drive but i raced a total of 2 600. and both times right behind him. now i wasnt really trying to tell the kid i could beat i was saying i know some hondas that would hand it to him. The way he said it he was cocking.
