turned on my 04 f4i today and it filled my driveway with white smoke... and the idle was very very low and bogged really bad.... My best guess would be antifreeze is somehow getting into the engine... I rode it fine last night and it sat all night and when i turned it on it happened.... Called the stealership and they said run it for 30 mins and if it goes away it was just a flooded engine.... but i can't imagine it being that.... chances that it is a head gasket or something similar....? bike has never been raced or driven hard...

 

Did you fill up w/diesel gas on accident? **** happens.

 

white smoke = water/coolant. are you the orignal owner? if not, you can not guarentee how the bike was run before. I would say th head gasket is done, or you have a cracked case/sleeve

 

the bike is BRAND NEW.... i bought it a month ago from the dealer with 0 miles on it.... i know for a fact i didn't run diesel..... but the bike has 1300 (in that area) miles.... so the bike SHOULD be under factory warranty.... so i guess i'll have them check it out...

 

You bet your *** you will have them fix it under warrenty
