Default Brakee c Lights

My '92 civic hatchbacks brakelights won't turn off even with the car turned off and the brake disengaged. the parking brake is on but, i undid the e-brake and it doesn't do anything. whats the deal?

Sounds like a bad ground or a relay, even could be your brake switch. Has anybody messed with your electricals?
