I don't know what there is to know other than what you see from the image (vents and such) and that they are DOT and SNELL approved....

They are very comfortable if they fit your head properly....I really liked them, but i went with my Arai Quantum II instead... Nice helmet though if your into that crazy colors...

They do have a tighter/smaller fit than the other helmets out there.

That store says the Suomy Spec 1R Extreme is a loud helmet. This is straight off of their website "ATTENTION: If you're looking for a helmet that can be worn without ear filters (Plugs), then don't even think about this helmet. However, if you're looking for a top of the line track, or race helmet, this would be it."

Loud helmets just mean the helmet is ventilated efficiently. But I always wear ear plugs so helmet noise is no biggy

My buddy has one of those helmets...they fade very quickly its your choice...I would personally buy something along the lines of arai or a shoei...they are the best helmets for the money...buy something for the quality..not the way it looks....
