Wow, that looks like a bad accident. Are you ok at least?? Was it your fault??

 

I was in the rightmost lane of a 3 lane street when this idiot in an SUV decides to cut in front of me. He was coming in the opposite direction and making a left turn into a parking lot. There was maybe 100 feet when he decided to go. I locked up the fronts and steered left, but the car just slid forward. I realized I wasn't turning so I let off the brakes and the car started to rotate. By this time, I was halfway in my lane and halfway in the next lane over when I went under his right rear quarter panel. If I didn't release the brakes, I would have t-boned him right down the middle. My passenger airbag went off (I don't have an airbag thanks to Momo ).

So far, it looks like it's totalled.

That's my shock tower bent backwards by a few inches.

Yeah I have full coverage. This sucks because I really loved my car and I just finished paying it off! Now I have to start all over...

I ran under a Chevy Silverado and the damage totalled in $6,500! Sorry man, I fixed the car and sold it.

pretty much anything that will fit on an ek.. i noticed u said ur front suspension is kinda tweaked.. but if its good the pieces to swap the front sway bar.. the rear sway bar(endlinks etc).. if it helps id be willing to trade u for stock ek parts.. cause if ur insurance is gonna total it.. then u can swap them out and come out on top.. it doesnt look like the front bumper is too bad, i think i might kno someone who would want that

if the price is right, i would take ur rear brakes as well

ps im glad ur cool.. i kno first hand what its like to be in a bad accident.. put it this way... apparently ur well enough to be able to take pics...

somtimes people make mistakes man just luckly that everybody is alright.
now if they would have gotten out like its your fault then its time too whoop some ***!!

 

whats with people in big trucks doing stupid stuff,

look what happened to my eg when a truck decided to pull out and stop on a bridge.




i got nothing for mine because "my brakes locked up" so it was "my fault"

If your brakes lock up it's your fault? That's the dumbest reasoning I've ever heard. My brakes locked up too. It's the idiots fault for placing his vehicle in front of another vehicle going 45 mph without sufficient room to stop.

 

Yeah the suv only had minor damage. Replace right rear quarter panel and bumper.

what really sucked about mine tho, i didnt have full coverage, so im still paying for the car, and i couldnt part the car out because we had to trade the title in to pay for 1: the towing and storage and 2: the bridge

 

that sucks!

 

about 6 months later we got the copy of "the other guys" report, it had 2 diff color inks on it and scratched out words, someone changed it, but they wouldnt do a thing about it. stupid NC
