Houston here. I go cruising but typically not too much on West. We should get a meet together though, I know there are plenty of R's in H-town.

I agree we should all meet up. I met John (Swift Type R) this past Sat at the Container Store on Westeimer. Lots of other cars there including WRXs, Supras, a Ferrari, Vipers etc. John was also naggin on me cause I never bring my car out when we try to meet up lol. Just in case I get drunk later. haha

Hey, count me in.... but I won't be able to go until I get my car fixed. Some #@!#@! thieves broke into my engine last night and made out with my throttle body & other junk. Be careful out there. I never thought it could happen, but it does. The police were here this morning.

The car was in an apt complex, a rather quiet and low key complex at that. But it's not safe even in a secured one... one with gates. I would park mine in a secured garage from now on. Not to get into details, but I don't think alarms work. Hardware for sure is better, but that's no guarantee, but better. These guys were very good, they knew exactly where the wires were hidden. I'm getting an estimate of the missing items. Once i do i'll know what the damages were. I won't be able to join you guys until this thing is taken care of.

Separately, would anyone know if I need to be vigilant to my dealer about restoring the engine to its original state? Is getting factory made ITR parts difficult or are they readily available? I'm just paranoid about them restoring the engine with less quality parts as substitutes. They assured me that they could supply acura parts but i want to make sure they're as good as the ones that were on my car originally.
