If you decide not to use an IAC then you can use your throttle adjustment screw to set idle. Motor will not idle when cold so you'll just have to "sit" until the motor temps get up.
i havnt run an idle air controll motor in years. its not needed with my engine managment....however it is an option that you can use.....only real time its needed with the managment im using is when you use air conditioning.

I'm in the same boat. I have a jg engine dynamics manifold. Should I still run the coolant lines and mount it on the firewall?

You can remove the coolant lines, and just leave it plugged in so it doesn't throw a code. Just zip tie or bolt the IACV some where under the block to keep it out of the way.

I wonder if their is a way to bypass it so u dont get a cel i'l have to play with it cause i dont wanna run. Hey turbo-charged what ems are you running?
Becuase I'm using a 75mm mustang throttle body, I cant reuse the stock IACV. I thought about mounting it remotely but didnt want to put up with the hassle. I brought a mustang IACV that bolts up the the mustang throttle. everything works great. One of the benefits of running aem
