Default toda a's in b16

how much compression do i need to get some decent #'s out of these cams? planning on using a mugen head gasket. should i also mill the head? if so, how much or should i go with flat valves and call it a day? also while the heads at the machine shop, how fast can most places do a valve job and is it heard of to do a valve job w/o doing port work? sorry for all the questions. thanks

You dont really NEED more compression with toda A's.. MOre would help though. i think anywhere from 10:1-12:1 will be ok for those cams since they're really mild. basically the same as a CTR cam with a tad more duration.

call portflow or alaniz about the valvejob and see what they say. If you got a b16, i'd say 2 piece headgasket and flat valves since you got the head off anyway. or use a stock head gasket and have the guy doing the valve job mill it .010"

Yeah but with CTR's and toda B's you need to watch out for valve Clearance.
