I have a 2002 Accord 4 cylinders sedan that's been behaving in a weird way for the past month. The car is an automatic and each time I stop the car for a red light, while the car is on Drive and my foot on the break, I can feel the car making slight movements forward as if I was pressing then releasing the throttle. I had the transmission oil changed on schedule and this problem comes and goes.

As anybody experienced this ? Thanks.

 

Sounds like the RPM surge when the a/c compressor kicks on. That might explain why you only noticed it recently.

 

It actually feels a little like that surge in RPM except that it happens even when the a/c is off.

 

check for a vacum leak. My car does it sometimes when it is cold (1994) and it could be the ICV as well. I am lazy to fix it since it does go away when the car is warm.
