B16a in a 86 Civic DX
i did a search and didn't find much... I know i can get mounts and all....But what about wiring? I have heard to run the 1st gen b16a in the DX i will need a HAsport harness to change it over the non-obd. please add any suggestions, or experience. or any problems that you may know of.
since its a carb. motor, you will need to convert it to Si specs at least first, meaning fuel pump, harnesses, fuel delivery, and few other electronics....basically alot of work, just to get the MPFI, first then going b16a, is going to be alot time and $$$....
either a 86-7 integra or 85-7 civic/crx si spare car will be required and tons of time and patience...how do I know? helped my buddy to do his to MPFI...belive me it wasn;t fun....especially all the gas tank/fuel mods...
