Bogart Wheels Size?
hey i dont know if this has been covered before, i tried searching but couldn't really find anything on wat my question is....i am wondering wats the ideal size of a drag wheel? Bogarts, Lenso, etc etc, while i was searching i have seen ppl use 15's and 13's looks like ppl seem to like the size 13's, can u guys post your info and possibly any pics of your wheels? just wondering wats a good ideal size is and do u guys have any issues clearing your rotors with the wheel set up?...thanks
It kinda depends on how much horsepower you are putting down, which will dictate your slick size and thus what size wheels you need to use. Here's my car with 13" Bogart Pro-4's, stock brakes with no spacers:

I think either 23" or 24" slicks will work well with 13x8 wheels.

Thanks, I'm not too sure what the "limits" on tire sizing is, but from what I've seen others use and knowing what kind of power they have, that is what I am basing my suggestions on. I've seen 250-450 hp cars use 24" slicks with good success. Thus far, I've had good luck with my 24's with 390+ hp.
wat about brake clearance? i'm surely ppl upgrade there rotors for more stopping power thus having bigger rotors...seems like 13's the ideal size, more likely used than 15's anyways.

so basically if your going to use a 13 inch wheel i'm going to need a spacer to clear the brakes right..so the wheel can be pushed out a lil more

yes, i dont know if it'll clear the smaller dx/cx brakes or not. but do know that most people who run bogarts need spacers and then there those who grind there calipers a lil and the wheels clear.
don't forget extended wheel studs if you are going to need spacers
i have skunk2, but ive heard people experiencing issues with them, so might look into ARP. if i have any problems i'll be getting ARP for sure.

Not too sure about the offset. I'm using ARP studs. I had Skunk2's, but they started to turn in the hub.
