b16 swap radiator problem

Default b16 swap radiator problem

i have a d15 radiator in my car and the diameter of the pipe is smaller then the diameter of the pipe coming out of the block so what do i do get a new radiator basicly or is there any way to ghetto rig it 4 now that u diy honda tech people can think of

You can also use a piece of radiator hose or one of those rubber sleeves on the radaitor hose to make a shim. Wrap that around the radiator neck which are too small and use the Teg radaitor hose and slip it over the shims and clamp down.

o ok so basicly use part of the old radiator hose as and then slip the new one over ok brb trying idea

that is one of the most ghetto fabulous things ive ever done it reminded me of brandons end tanks on his inter cooler

I used 86 accord up rad hose cut to fit and 91 crx si lower hose. I just had to force it over the water necks. No leaks for 5 yrs now. Its the cheapest and the most reliable
