well i have owned both and they both have there advantages.i have had no luck with cars. i had a 94 dx coupe and someone tired to steel it, so i sold it and got a 95 si hatch and that did get stolen. so i got the vr6 dub and got in to an accident. by the way we give hondas love vwvortex in the mk3 fourms

The MK4 guys are pretty well known for being tools on the rest of the 'tex.
That was a pretty nice GTI too.
I've come across more Honda-hating tools on the 'tex, and it just gets old listening to their ignorance.

thanks man. same here i dont hate on either cars cause i loved driving them both and i wouldnt mind owning both of them either

Sucks that you wrecked it. I own both hondas and VW's but i love my VW more because its not as common as a civic. Although i have to agree, there is not as much flaming here as on the tex.

someone changed lanes right into me on the freeway and i lost control of the car and spun across the whole freeway. it was a hit and run. i have no plans for the civic, but i know once i get it will change i cant drive a stock car

Yeah true. BUT I ve been building a stock (once upon a time a junkyard car lol) 91 Civic. Its not totally done but enough to race it at our last autox event. With some 5zigens and toyo ra1's tossed on it I placed third (overall) and only ran half the day. The two guys ahead of me were running Hoosiers and konis. Me and my stock old shocks almost took em.
But it would suck to drive it around as my main car because its so 4x4 ed stock.

dang...that sucks. goodluck in getting that coupe....
but if you wana invest in a honda, then i'd suggest getting security since someone tried stealing your dx and someone actually taking your si...
