Yeah, its a 4th gen.
Yeah, its a 4th gen.
You can fit over 2" no problem. I put some Infinity Kappa 60.5cs components in my doors, they're a little over 2", no lifter rings. If you really want to get something 2.5" deep you can put up to a .5" lifter ring, I believe, without hitting the door grills.

Oh yeah, Crutchfield underestimates depth. Doesn't it say like 1 7/8" or something for the rear? BS. Also, whatever you put in the doors you'll have to cut away the back of the stock speaker baskets, and they're REALLY tough.

i think that is why crutchfield puts the required depth so low, that is without cutting the factory speaker-holders. i was too lazy to do that and too cheap to buy the infinity's so i've got kenwoods. they fit well and don't sound bad.
well crutchfield here i come... I wasn't going to get them since i'm saving for my h22 swap, but i'm saving $100 so I might as well nab it while I can. they are buy one set get another half off at crutchfield. thanks, no more speaker fitment questions from me

I just replaced stock-fitting Kenwoods with Infinity components to get better sound. But hey, whatever sounds good to you.
