Crower billet steel LS rods on pr3/p30 pistons???? What has to be done????
i have a set of crower steel forged rods from my previous motor, and i am just doing a very mild n/a build using a set of o/s b16a pistons in my LS/vtec motor..
some one mentioned to me about having to have a groove machined into the pistons for a clip of soem sort, i am not sure about that exactly and am lookign for more info
woul;d i be better off with eagle rods maybe? or maybe just sell the crower an stick to stock LS rods???

-theres no need for some heavy crower rods on some stock pistons..unless you go with some forged pistons.
-stick with some stock rods w/arp rod bolts..
-stick with some stock rods w/arp rod bolts..
In my opinion, for a mild build i would go with the stock Ls's
or go with some forged pistons and keep the crower's..
lets get some more opinions from others..
