Default Finished replacing Head gasket. Car won't start.

I just finished putting a new head gasket in my d15b7 I also installed all the numberous gaskets that you need to do for the job. Now that I finished at 11 30 eastern time after an hour and a half of no problems I ran into one.

The car isn't turning over. It spins but no turning over.

When I took my head off I brought to a machine shop to get resurfaced and so on but as I was taking my spark plugs out one wouldn't budge. So I had the machine shop mill it out. After this I had to bring it to another machine shop to get surfaced and while they were looking at it they decided it would be in our best interest to have it presure tested. It turned out to be fine.

Now here's my question. my timing belt is at TDC the same way as it was when I removed the head. Is it possible that when it got pressure tested that the valves moved or anything like that? I'm a noob at this but I'm learning slowly.

When I try to start the car it spins over and just doesn't turn. We're almost positive that it's the timing. We took the distribuitor cap off to see if it was spinning and it was. Does anyone have any ideas or anything that could be of help for my efforts tomm? Any help would be appreciated.

do a compression test, if it is low then the initial timming is off. and it isnt uncommon to have to rotate the cam to close some valves to attach the plate to pressure test the head.

no it's not that I already had that problem. It's obvious that it is the timing.

Do you have spark?

Do you have fuel?

Is everything at TDC? Cams, crank, distributor isn't 180 degress off?

Possibly you need to do a valve adjustment? Once a head came back from the machine shop for me, and they took everything apart to clean the head, they didn't adjust the valve lash back to spec and I didn't do it when I put the motor together. It would crank but not start.

I've got fuel and spark and my distribuitor is right as far as the cam shaft and crank I'm not sure.
