Default biggest rim for EP3? (will Volk GTNs 18" fit??)

my buddy was looking to buy my Volk GTNs from my S2K, and was wondering if will fit?

he is dropped on some sprint springs but wants to know if this will work?

front: 18x7.5 w/ 225/40/18, offset +49
rear: 18x8.5 w/ 245/35/18, offset +49

i know its a FF hatch, and its a staggered setup from my S2K, but will it fit? or is it two big of a wheel, and too wide of a rim/tire?

can the EP3 accommdate these volks? any inpit//

The widest tire I know installed was 225, not sure about the profile. Rim width 7.5 should be ok. Wider than that? I don't know. Also staggered setup is for RWD, not good for FWD. better sell it and get a new one for EP.

What's up with the S2K?

The Chalkboard Type-R EP3 at APC(i kno ikno) had one of the first sets of 19" Racing Hart CR's with i think 225/35s on 8" wide up front and 245/30s and 9" wide in the back. sumthn wierd. looked bad *** though. It really matters what kind of offset/backspacing you have to acheive maximum wheel/tire width. of course you're going to have to roll/grind/cut inner fender lips/wheel wells. After i saw those wheels on that car i bought a set of the same style 19x8's for my WRX. I had alot of response wid those.

yes anything will fit......with modifications. Im pretty sure this guy doesnt have a wide body kit or anything along the lines of the pic that you posted. If he does, completely ignore this post, but i believe that most people wouldn't go through such extensive body modifications just to get certain wheels to fit.

id watch the front off set... too high of an off set and you might end up hitting the shocks on the inside. usually +40-45 is sufficient.
