ok heres whats goin on i bought a used ep3 with about 18,600 miles on it about a month ago. because i am 16 i had to wait to come up with the money myself to register it, so it has been sitting. today is the first day i take it out, the engine is stock except for intake. everything is running fine all day and then tonight the engine light turns on. i figure its nothing maybe oil its been a good 3,00 miles from last change.as im comin home i here the engine almost rattling and losing power when i was going up the hill. what do you guys think might b the problem, the oil or something bigger????? well whatever the case is im going to take it to honda first thing tommorow morning cause it should be under warrenty unless they bitch about the intake..please let me know my baby is sick right now and theres gonna be a honda-tech meet this sunday in my town and i cant miss it for the world...

i dunno what it could be, but you should stop driving it as soon as possible, before you damage something if its have been before.

 

going uphill? you sure you weren't just in to high a gear?

with that sort of mileage it should still be under warranty, but it's still going to cost you to have the dealer look at it.
