Remove fairing lowers
Drain oil
Remove side cover (buy new gasket)
Remove clutch bolts/springs (measure springs)
Remove clutch
install new plates (lube with clean oil)
inspect metal plates (change if knackered)
Refit clutch bolts/springs, torque as per manual
Refit side cover (with new gasket) torque as per manual
Refit drain plug
Fill with fresh oil, change oil filter

Done. Don't be scared of taking the clutch out, it is 99% impossible to screw it up. Use your common sense and everything will be fine. I would measure the plates, if they are still in tolerance then I would look at the basket and/or the steels for the problem. Clutches in a worn basket dont last very long.... but then it is a wet clutch so it should be ok?
