Longer valve adjusting screws on D16A6 rocker arms?
I had a cam ground to the limit of the very limiting rules for my FP car. Basically a .290 list and as much duration as possible. They did not add metal to the stock cam by welding it up, they cut into the existing base circle. Upon installtion, I found that the base circel was so greatly reduced that the stock valve adjusting screws were not long enough to allow me to adjust the valve lash and still have enough thread left for safely locking down the jam nuts. For the race weekend, I just put the stock cam back in it.
Does anyone know if there is such thing as an extended adjuster screw? I know that reducing the base cirelce tends to put the adjusting screw at not the best angle for the tip of the valve but at this point I can't even try this cam. Any thoughts?

you might try other honda parts.....have never had that happen....
you might possibly want to have the valves cut further into the head!

manley makes some valve lash caps, these things go between the valve and the adjuster screw.. i have used them before with some h22 regrinds.. they DONT last though, you will need to change them after every race.
