Nice car, but it looks like you got hydraulics in the first pic, you need to lower that thing. Maybe go with some Tein HA coilovers.. Real nice though, love the rims.

on the first picture i took it at a angle. i faced the camera upward and it made the car look higher then it its. but no worries, im droppin it 2 1/4 in the front and 2 in the back. laterz

well the color difference is almost none. i thought the same thing that the color would be way off, that the wheels would be brighter then the car, but its not. they are the same color. no one can tell the difference between the colors. if u look at the last picture it shows the rim and some of the car. take a close look and see if u can tell the difference. its almost none. and the size of the rims are 17's, they come stock on the integra type R in japan. and they weight only 14 pounds each. but the thing that might be tough if u can get these rims, they are hard to find. no where sells them. and the other tough thing is the tire size. the back rim tends to make most tires rub, the tirs size i went with was a 215/45R17,i still kept my falken azienis on my stock rims incase i need to use the..lol. the azenis and nitto drags cant fit on the jdm rims. i went with falken beta's. there pretty good. but i will keep you posted on what i do next with my car. im tryin to get it already for the hin/sema show in long beach on april 28-29. wish me luck guys. laterzz

Hey Nice car man. I like the JDM Rims.

I posted a similar pic awhile ago, but here is another JDM RSX... It currently has the JDM HIDs on it as well...

Take it easy bro.

I race, and JDM parts are quality parts that I use on the track. That explains the Rear Spoiler and the Rims... That is why the car hasn't been dropped yet, I haven't found a suitable full coilover suspension for my needs yet.

The HIDs are for better visibility at night, and quite simply, I love the technology. I don't agree with the Type R stickers, and red JDM valve covers, etc. But if it is functional, why not go for quality? No?

I am sure that final zeros, is doing it for show status. I believe JDM is a new extension of what is 'in' at shows. If he wants to spend his money to make his car JDM, why not? It IS his car. I say let him do what he likes. You can't question someone's passion.

This post is not meant to offend anyone in anyway... This is just my opinion...

well i am actually doin both. im goin somewhat show, but mainly race. i had to get the rims because my friend at import power house barely got them in and i couldnt pass them up, and the fact that they weight 14 pounds is another reason. alot lighter then the stock.and also tell me of someone else u know that can get u jdm rims?? uh huh thought not. and dont even try clubrsx beacuse they cant. i already tried. im gettin the jdm body kit because its mild and not all rice like some kits i have seen. i mean would u really go street racing with the veilside body kit? or even tempt trying to drive with a 8k body kit down the street? the jdm kit is mild and u dont have to worry bout it much, and as for performance im not ignoring that. im gettin plenty. im doin the show in april because i want to enter at least one show before i go all race. im gettin custom internals for my car so give me time. custom pistons and rings. and im in the process of tryin to get a direct port wet system for my car. but at this time there is only the basic intake. exhaust for this car.no headers or turbo or any thing. but i have to agree with SPOONRSX most jdm parts are better. and also 2002desertsilversx are u tellin me that u would rather have the stock lights over hid??alot of jdm parts are alot better then some products here. and SPOONRSX hopefully i will see u on the track sometime, it be kind of cool to run against another rsx-s =] but i also run street too. i do both. track, street. but good luck on the track, and ur car looks tight. keep me posted on how it does bro

JDM parts are not always better. Also, no matter what you do to your car, it will never be truly JDM. It will just be a RSX-S with a lot of JDM parts. There are a lot of aftermarket parts out already besides I/E. Headers are out, turbo should be out in the next month, and nitrous, you will not be able to do to this car, cuz of the i-VTEC.

**** you **** me off. people go with JDM stuff cause they deliver quality stuff. I lived in japan for bout 18 years and came to canada and really felt strong that the jdm stuff are better. well, i guess not all stuff, like shocks, i like Ohlins, and plug cords i like Nology, but anyway, jdm stuff are good, more towards racing than "looks". and i dont like how you use the word "rice". that really pisses me off since im half japanese as well. damn stop that ****.

what is your problem with JDM dude??? if someone likes that shiet let it be. its his car, his dinero and if he is going for the JDM look there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. and btw, its HEADER, not HEADERS. its an inline four for god sakes, it has only one header.

ack Why Spend so much on the JDM ITR Rim when its only a Works Emotion Rim? Just get the Works rim and save yourself some money, also you have more choices in size and color

PS If your track oriented why did you pay all that money on a 17" Rim that weighs so much? You could have gotten a 16" rim that weighs 1/2 as much

Just curious.....

I agree with that. but oh well, he likes it. if i had the choice of the us stuff or jdm stuff, id choose the jdm stuff, so i understand both . jdm iz quality i think. anyway about wheels, id go with TE37 or Advan RG. i like thoes, light, and good quality.

I don't believe they are the same wheels (although they do look similar). Aren't those the JDM RSX Type-R wheels? If you look closely, the spokes on the Honda wheel go to the lip of the wheel while the Works stop just short of it.

Look at the 17" version and the OEM JDM Rim, Same thing. Works makes them for Honda, Just like Enkei made the 98 Spec CTR ITR rims.

OH BTW The only real diffeerences are the rims (OEM) coming in CW or Gunmetal and the fact that they use acorn style lug nuts, and also the fact that they are hubcentric to the RSX
