just woundering, wut year of the acura cl can i take the interior and swap into a 96 accord sedan? can i do this with a 97-99 cl sedan???i have buddy with a wrecked 97 cl with **mint** black leather interior, hes giving me anything i want out of it if i can swap it inot my accord. pleas help!!!! thanks

 

the seats, cluster, maybe pillar panels, door panels, rims

... No such thing as a CL sedan only a coupe. As for the questions if he will give you anything out of it why dont you just take all the interior and see what fits. As for what will fit the seats will and that is probably it. The cl and accord coupe would have more similarities as far as panel sizes than the cl will with the accord sedan. if you are talking about a TL which is a 4 door nothing will really fit because the tl is a much more modified accord chasis.

I also considered swapping some stuff of a CL. like the side mirrors, sun roof (i hate the fact the gen5 sunroof doesnt tilt up) among other things. wish I had generous friends like you hehe

SORRYYY MAN IM A NOOB, i am just tryin to lern...i really wish i could just put the cars right next to each other and just test fit every single part that i may need and just wish to know about.. but considering that in live in central california and hes way down south in vista, california.(an 8 hour drive) it is kinda hard for me to do it. To just go and find out that nothin fits would really sux. for that reason i ask, so that perhaps others may have done it or maybe goin throught the same idea!!

now as for blacking out the interior. anyone know what other options i have beside the 2 obvious of: painting the interior, and just spending a good g and a half on reupholstering it..? any ideas on how to get an all black interior would help. do any of the 5th gen jdm or edm accords come wit black interiors?

 

ok well even if i switch the interior of the cl coupe over to my ex sedan ill still have to worry about the back part. so basicaly ill be halfe assing it. any other ideas on how to blacken out my interior or should i just look fo an all tan leather interior and give the car a clean look?
