Browsing through ebaymotors for Mugen stuff and came across this strut bar... and just wondering if it's the real thing or just some fake strut with the Mugen sticker....

first of all considering the price of $59.95 that should be your first guess that it is fake!!! fake mugen products

That's for the input guys.. forgot to look at that.. "MUGEN STYLE" CRAP... quick browsing... I was looking for a Mugen wing, but I guess no one is selling one..

 

look at the picture of the real one. you can tell that the badgeing is upside down and the sides are different

The genuine logo doesn't say "Power" on it. Also, the little reinforcing bars face the other direction (compared to the logo). The bar itself is radiused in the Mugen picture, but the Ebay picture shows a more square shape. The brackets on the ends appear to be different as well.

The old one kinda looked like that one...I thought is was made of steel though? That one is definatley a FAKE.

 

Wouldn't the wording "Mugen style bar"be the dead give away?

 

You'd be suprised how many people don't see the word "style".

 

Damn RIGHT !! hahaha... then again it's only a hunk of metal, like all the other pieces of metal we all shell out the BLING BLING for, just for BRAGGING rights! LOL !! Sad isn't it?

 

My mugen front strut bar had a Mugen sticker that wasn't applied. I paid over $200 for it too. The one you're looking at is FAKE
