Quebec's fastest sport compact does it again.

Stephane Beauregard and Team SMP ran a 8.783 @ 162.90 mph and a 8.887 @ 163.08 mph with their Dodge Shelby Charger.

Any of you guys saw them race in the USA?

congrats on the 8.7, hes been stuck in the low nines most of the season, i guess he just got that tranny figured out, good guy, and a very dedicated racer.

As far as I know he is using the 2.2L engine.

Stephane is a true racer and we need more like him in our sport. He is a blast to bullshit with and I wish him the best. Brings his son to the races and roughs it in his truck camper with no air.

FWD Mopars were the firt FWDs in the 11's waaaay back in the day. Pretty sick for those old chassis and very different these days!

Anyone know what year this was? I know Speedtek from Hawaii got into the 11's with a VW Rabbit in 1991
