Default Wheel Stud with Bigger Splines

I'm looking for a replacement front wheel stud (1989 Civic LX) that has BIGGER splines. The original wheel stud has stripped and spins freely. Rather than replace the wheel hub, I'd like to save time and money with a new wheel stud.

Is this recommended? if yes, then, does anyone have details ie. make, model of replacement?

Regards,

Harvey

Harvey,

Could you put a bit of weld on the back of the wheel stud to hold it in place?

It's possible, I'll keep that open as an option.

dorman has a domestic wheel stud that *almost* is similar to the honda metric size, but its a bit oversized. so i dont recommend it as a typical replacement, but this seems exactly what youre looking for. it is longer tho.

Dorman 610-323 i think is the part number. might want to check. some chevy.

also, have you considered just welding the proper stud back on? i dont see why that wouldnt solve your problem.
