Motor revs up

The motor revs up after it is warm. After I shut the car off and restart the motor
revs up until I drive it for about 5min. D15 in a civic hb 91. Any help?

open up the intake tube, and see if you still have suction through the small hole on the inside, if it still works when the car is warm, your fast idle thermal valve is bad
