Engine builders....ACL Bearings for my h22
I've been to several sites trying to figure out the correct item number for ACL Rod Bearings for my h22a1. I know 93-97 have the 50mm and 98+ have 55mm journals. Tuners choice lists that h22a1/a4's and h23a1's are the same. ACL doesn't even have a listing for rod bearings for the h22a1 in their catalog. As far as I can read in the catalog, they specify that the h22a1 rod bearings are different than the h23a1 rod bearings. HELP! I need these rod bearings to get my block put together.

I would trust ACL over anything else, but they don't have my h22a1 listed. TIA!

I just bought a set of the ACL rod and main bearings from Kteller.com. I put a different crank into my 1994 h22a block, so I wasn't able to match up the colors as normal. I got a standard set and they were well within specs. Give Mike (at kteller) a call and he should be able to help you out. He knows his stuff and if he can't help you, he will find someone who can. And did you call ACL to see what they have to say? Might be a good start point as well.
H23a1 and H22a1 rod bearings should be the same, as well as main bearings... In fact any F/H series rod bearings should be the same except for the the F23 and F20...
