Yes, I do have a good reason for this before you guys start to wonder.

I am swapping my stock seats for a pair of Sparco Speeds w/harnesses.

However, the guy I am swapping with needs my stock seatbelts in return. I said that it was fine, but I now need to find out how to remove the belts and then probably install them in his car. Anyone know how to do this or in the Orlando area that could help out?

are you sure he needs the belts? or just the latch?

and with a harness... that would require a bar & helmet or else... quite a death trap.

I am not sure on exactly what he needs. I was told that he needs the belts entirely.

And yes, I understand that I need to install a rollbar as well

Not sure why he would need your seat belts. When I had my s2k in my crx the stock belts from the crx worked fine. I am guessing they are going in a non s2k.

To remove the belts you will need to remove the rear roll bar trim, and to get to that you will need to remove the seats, the panel just behind the seats(with the vents in them) and and the center console section... it's kind of a pain.

I've taken the convertible top in and out of an S2k a couple times now... I've got it down to about 3 hours now.. LoL...

The seat belts are mounted to a main cross beam that the roll bars mount to, you will need to unbolt the belts at the floor, and then at the shoulder point before removing the roll bars...
