Hello there I needed advice on my setup. I have a step deck h22 block with stock bore using the oem honda gasket. i started it for the first time and when it was fully warmed up coolant started leaking between the head and block. i took the head a apart to get the surface checked out and it was straight. the guy at the machine shop took a look at the head and said the gasket needed to be .025 overbore because the sealing ring was to close to the cumbustion chamber. So my question is does GE do the .025 overbore on the headgasket and also at the same time move the sealing ring over .025 from stock? Do u recommend any other headgaskets other than stock for step deck? what headgaskets to stay away from for step deck? THanks in advance!!
