Default single cam supercharger question!!!!!!

is there a difference between lx/hx/dx/ex superchargers? i searced but i cant find ****. help me out!!!!

it aint worth it man i knew a guy that did it and was only in the 16s! he turbod it and at lease hes in the 15s now id do all motor single befor i put a supercharger on it! and no there aint a diffrence but plz dont do it just search around and youll c why

He asked if there was a difference...

as for your friend....
he did 16s in a supercharged civic? 16 is stock if I am not mistaken... sounds like your friend is made up, or sucks.

Anyways... Superchargers are fine... will it get you the most peak power? nope... but it will have lower end power and response compared to turbo, but it will still add a lot of power higher as well.

For 92-95...no difference 92-95(B7/Z6) - CX,DX,LX,EX,SI.

However...

96-98(Y8) EX is different from the 99-00(Y8) EX.

96-00(Y7) Cx/DX/LX are all the same.

Thats just from Jackson racing. Other companies might be different but I doubt it.

Yea, this is definite. It took me the longest time to find this out, but the manifolds are, in fact, different.
