Default squeky front left wheel

so i was driving down on a local ave tonight and my front left wheel sounded like it was grinding on something. so i pulled over to check it out. only when the wheel moves it squeeks. the sound is like taking a fork to a glass plate. it stopps when i tap the brake. so i decide to take it home. but on the way home, it stops. like completly. im taking it to service tomorow but what do you think is wrong? cause im worried

if it stopped completely chances are it was just somethin stck between brake calliper and your rotor try to see if there is any rub marks on your rotor

The indicator tabs on your brake pads? Or a small rock?

The indicator tabs should never rub when you are not on the brake.

im pretty sure it's just something caught in the caliper. this happened to me not too long ago and it scared the shyt outta me. It sounded like the wheel was gonna fall off!

My guess is a small rock became lodged between the pad and rotor. It is a pretty common occurance.
