Default JDM Cluster...Now car starts hard...WTF?

Like it says in the title. After installing the cluster the car starts hard. I checked the battery and it was 100%. Next I unplugged the JDM cluster and it started with no problems. Is there something I can check on the cluster itself?

Thanks

maybe unplugging some thing/ pluggin in you blew some fuses - shouldnt really affect how your car is running

cluster would have nothing to do with it..

and for the comment about the fuse.. he said that the car started fine when i removed the cluster so i dont think the problem is there...

unless there is a short of some kind in the cluster that is causing some current to be drawn from the battery minimizing its voltage capacity?

That would be the only thing that makes sense to me would be a short somewhere. try double checking all the wires for any exposed metals. Good luck man, I haven't heard of this problem yet!

it more than likely is something you unintentionally did rather than a result of the cluster being there.

maybe if the cluster's tach is messed up and shorts out the tach signal the ECU wouldn't see the engine turning and would not start it.
